Czech citizens who cannot vote at their usual polling station in the Senate election may request a voličský průkaz (voter certificate). A written or online request must reach the relevant office by Friday 2 October 2026 at 16:00. You can apply in person until Wednesday 7 October at 16:00. In Pilsen, apply at your municipal district office for your permanent address.
A paper application needs an officially certified signature. Online applications can be sent from your own datová schránka data box, or via the Citizen Portal with a connected data box. Bring proof of identity if applying in person. For the Senate election, indicate whether you need a certificate for the first round, the second round or both.
A Senate voter certificate is valid only within your own Senate constituency where the election is being held. This year’s Pilsen Senate election concerns constituency 9, excluding Pilsen 2–Slovany district. No voter certificates are issued for the municipal election held on 9–10 October; voters cast their local ballot where they reside. The cover does not show a real document or application.
