On the morning of 30 September, police checked the district court buildings on Edvarda Beneše and Nádražní streets in Pilsen after an anonymous caller told emergency line 112 that an explosive might have been placed there. People were evacuated while officers checked the buildings and surrounding area.
Police ended the operation shortly after midday. They found no explosive device and said evacuees could return to the court buildings. According to police statements reported by Plzeň.cz, investigators are continuing to examine the case as a suspected false alarm. The anonymous report did not establish that a bomb was present.
