On 30 September, Pilsen described increased monitoring at its main railway station. A municipal police office has operated there since 2024, with an intercom connecting visitors directly to the police operations desk. People can use it to report an emergency or unusual situation in the station area.
The city says the intercom was used 422 times over two years. Municipal and national police patrol the area regularly; security hired by the station owner also covers the building and platforms. The city announcement introduces no new restrictions for passengers.
