On 1 October 2026, the City of Pilsen announced the completion of the third and final phase of work at Lochotínský Park in the northern part of the city. The roughly ten-hectare park beside the zoo has been renewed in stages since 2014.
The final phase repaired paths, tended mature trees, planted 18 new trees and flower beds, added play and exercise features, and restored the stone channel of the stepped waterfall. A small pond near the Kilometrovka avenue now has a platform for visitors. The renewed park is available for walks and recreation. The city still plans to renovate the Lochotín pavilion separately; that work is not complete.
According to the city, the final phase cost about CZK 33 million. The whole programme since 2014 has cost more than CZK 90 million, including CZK 30 million in grants. The cover is an illustration, not a photograph of the park.
