The City of Pilsen began construction of the Človíček 2 day centre on 1 October 2026 in Skvrňany, between Vojanova and Františka Kovaříka streets. It is designed for 36 people: 24 with severe combined disabilities and 12 with autism spectrum conditions. The complex will bring together daytime social care and special education.
The city says Diakonie ČCE’s West Bohemia centre will operate it, with construction expected to finish in September 2028. Planned daytime hours are 07:00–16:00. The city has not announced an application period or a service opening date. The cover is a conceptual illustration, not an image of the actual building design.
