The city introduced DJKT’s new production of Puccini’s La Bohème on 15 October. Director Rocc contrasts the precarious lives of young artists with creative imagination, with musical preparation led by Jiří Štrunc.

Part of the costumes and materials have been reused from the theatre’s stock. Costume designer Belinda Radulović and the director have given them a new role in this production. The news concerns a new artistic treatment, rather than a review of an already completed premiere.

The premiere at Velké divadlo is announced for 17 October 2026. Further performances are listed for 21 October, 5 and 20 November, and 5 December.
