Pilsen announced updates to its local model railway club’s layout on 14 October. During the past year, members completed the station street and began extending the freight yard in the miniature Václavice. Work continues on the sugar factory and farming area; these sections have not been announced as complete.
The coming visitor season will also mark 70 years of club history, recalling its beginnings in 1956 and 1957. The fresh news is the improvement of an existing layout and its anniversary focus, rather than the opening of a new museum.
The 150 m² layout at Karla Steinera 10/A will be accessible from 14 November to 13 December 2026: Wednesday–Friday 15:00–18:00, weekends and the 17 November public holiday 9:00–18:00.
