On 5 October, the city of Pilsen reminded residents of the already-open Zelený poklad green-roof grant. The timely update is a free information session on 7 October at 4:30 pm at the Regional Research Library and the current application deadline; the programme did not begin today.
Under the fund’s rules, eligible green roofs cover 10–1,000 m² on existing buildings within Pilsen, not new builds. Support varies by roof type from CZK 650 to 2,200 per m², capped at CZK 1 million per roof. Individuals, homeowners’ associations and other applicants may qualify if they meet the full conditions; living in the city alone is not sufficient. A favourable structural assessment and project documentation are among the required materials. Funding is paid after completion and accounting.
Submit the full application and attachments online by 30 November 2026 at 11:59 pm through the system linked from the fund’s site. The 7 October session is free but is not a condition for applying.
