The Pilsen 3 district announced on 6 October 2026 a planned tram 2 closure for final track works on Skvrňanská Street. From 24 October through 1 November, trams will follow Světovar – Jízdecká – U Synagogy – Světovar instead of running to Skvrňany.

Replacement bus 2A will cover Skvrňany – U Synagogy – Jízdecká – Skvrňany. Some bus stops differ by direction, so check the district’s full stop list and the latest PMDP timetable before you travel. The district says a ticket validated on the other leg remains valid after changing between tram 2 and bus 2A. PMDP’s information line is 371 655 600. The cover is a conceptual AI illustration, not a photograph of the actual diversion.
