The Czech government approved further development of the Representation Register, REZA, on 12 October, according to a Transport Ministry notice published on 13 October. Ministries must connect their portals or publish authorisation templates for commonly used electronic services by 31 December 2027. Other central administrative bodies have until 31 December 2028.
This is an approved implementation plan, not the immediate launch of representation across every government service. Individual authorities will decide which services and scope to support. Digital authorisation can be used where a service already supports it; access and electronic identification requirements also depend on the service.
The Transport Portal has offered digital powers of attorney since spring 2025 for selected vehicle-registration, ownership-transfer and document-collection tasks. REZA does not replace statutory checks or automatically change foreign nationals’ rights. See the official ministry notice. The cover is a conceptual AI illustration.
