Rail operator alex reports planned works on the cross-border route from 15 October to 19 November 2026. Its RE 25 trains between Schwandorf and Domažlice will not run during the affected period and replacement buses are planned. For through journeys to Prague, the operator says express buses will link Schwandorf and Pilsen. Some RB 27 services are also affected.
The operator’s initial press announcement was dated 29 September, so this is an advance travel notice rather than a new announcement today. Times may change and journeys may take longer. Check the current replacement timetable and bus stops before travelling. Existing tickets remain valid on replacement buses, but tickets are not sold on board.
