HC Škoda Plzeň announced on 20 October that it is looking for one new esports player for the 2026/2027 Esport hokejová liga season. The newcomer will join Patrik “Patre3sk0” Valigursky and Luboš “Derry” Deraha on Pilsen’s roster.
The open qualifiers are scheduled for 22, 26 and 29 October 2026. They will use PlayStation 5 and NHL 27’s Hockey Ultimate Team mode. A new double-elimination format means that one loss will not automatically end a player’s qualifier. Players will collect points towards the qualification ranking.

The league’s regular season starts on 4 January 2027. Its total prize pool is CZK 150,000 across the competition, not a promised payment to Pilsen’s recruit. The final LAN day is planned for 27 February at Prague’s PLAYzone Arena.
