Pilsen band Mi Martef will perform at the Great Synagogue on 8 October. Expect klezmer melodies from Eastern Europe, Sephardic influences and songs from Yiddish musicals of the early twentieth century. The group has explored this musical tradition since 2015.
The concert is scheduled for 19:00–20:30. Standard admission is CZK 250; students and seniors pay CZK 150. The venue says tickets are paid for on site. The repertoire draws on Jewish musical traditions; the organiser does not specify the language of any spoken introductions.
